WMU 5-15 sits within the Quesnel Highlands and the western edge of the Cariboo Mountains. Following the Cottonwood River south on its western boundary, it wraps around the west side of Quesnel Lake running south to Mahood Lake. Wells Gray Provincial Park forms the eastern border with Wells/Barkerville siting on its northern edge.
