With the help of Prince of Whales Whale & Marine Wildlife Adventures, Outland Living, GPS Central, and North Island Kayak, we are pleased to announce our 30th Anniversary Contest. With the click of a button and a little bit of adventuring, BRMB Webmap and App users can enter to win one of 30 prizes that will be given away across five months. The prizes amount to a whopping $30,000 total prize value and will be awarded monthly up until September 30th.
Step 1: Enter the 30th Anniversary Contest
Visit www.brmbmaps.com/adventure-challenge/leaderboard or click here. Current BRMB Webmap and App members can enter the contest with the click of a button, while new users will be prompted to create a free BRMB account. By joining the contest, you will also receive a 30-day free trial of the Pro Mobile App/Webmap, which unlocks several exciting features such as customizable map layers, access to adventure write-ups and bonus overlays including Private or Crown Land, Industry or Recreation Roads and more, the ability to drop custom waypoints and record tracks, and the option to create custom trips or custom printed topographic maps.
Once you have created a BRMB account and entered the 30th Anniversary Contest, you receive your first contest point and are officially in the running for the exciting prizes.
Step 2: Tell Your Friends, Start Adventuring, and Earn Bonus Points
Now comes the fun part! Earn bonus points to start climbing the contest ranks by telling your friends about the contest, going on fun adventures, and posting your photos and reviews for BRMB Points of Interest. With over 330,000 Points of Interest across Canada clearly defined on our Webmap and App, there are countless opportunities to gain points, whether you are exploring local trails, visiting new parks on a road trip, or spending the weekend adventuring.
Every BRMB Webmap and App user gains one point for entering the 30th Anniversary Contest, 25 points for referring a friend to sign up for the contest, two points for adding a photo to a BRMB Point of Interest, and 5 points for adding a review. If you notice any Points of Interest that need to be updated or refined, you will receive five points for submitting a map update.
Our Adventure Points of Interest are clearly defined and differentiated on the BRMB Webmap and App and can be toggled on and off under the “Layers” menu, making it easy to find and partake in your next adventure, review it, add your favourite photos, and gain bonus points towards the contest!
Step 3: Keep an Eye on the Leaderboard to Win Prizes!
Once you have started referring friends, adventuring, and reviewing all your favourite adventures, be sure to check the leaderboard regularly to track your progress and where you stand against other adventurers for the fantastic prizes. The first round of prizes was announced on May 30th, and the rest of the prizes will be announced on June 30th, July 30th, August 30th, and September 30th. Good luck, and happy adventuring!
