Roads, routes, trails, and other points of interest are always changing. To ensure you are up to date and have the newest road and recreation information on your map be sure take advantage of our map update options.
To buy updates you will need to log into your account and choose from one of the three options below. If you would simply like to check for updates to see if a new map version is available click the notifications button below. We highlight the main updates as well as date each release.
Note: Once you are logged into your account, choose "Check myRegistered Products" from your account page. Then Click on the product you want to buy updates for, and then choose one of the 3 options below.
Update Guarantee
Free
Each customer is eligible for one free map update within 90 days after registering their product if a new updated version becomes available.*
One Year Update
$19.95
This is 1-year update which will replace your current GPS maps version with the most recent updated GPS maps version. There can be up-to two updates available per year.**
Five Year Update
$49.95
Receive map update versions that become available for five years. These updates will replace your older versions. There can be up-to two updates available per year.***
Lifetime Update
$89.95
Receive map updates for the life of your microSD card. There can be up-to two updates available per year.****
Terms and Limitations:
*Guarantee
Each customer is eligible for one free map update within 90 days after registering their product if a new updated version becomes available. The Guarantee applies to one GPS Maps product and is NOT transferable to any other person or product. You will qualify for the free map update only if you register your product online at www.gpsmaps.ca and the map update will only be available during the 90 day period following the date you registered your product. The free map update is only available if and when a new version(s) becomes available within the 90 day period. You will not qualify for the free map update if you register your product more than 90 days after buying the product.
**One Year Update
If you purchase a One Year update you will receive one or more updates from your current version to the newest version available for the product that you originally purchased. If you purchased your product on a micro-SD card, you will receive the update in both the SD Card format and Computer version. If you purchased your product as a DVD product, then you will receive the update in the Computer version format. All updates are offered as a download. If you are on a slow internet connection, you also have the choice of purchasing the update on a DVD for a small fee.
***5 Year Update
If you purchase a 5 Year update program you will receive up to 2 updated versions per year for five years, when and as such new updated versions become available. If you purchased your product on a micro-SD card, you will receive the update in both the SD Card format and Computer version. If you purchased your product as a DVD product, then you will receive the update in the Computer version format. All updates are offered as a download. If you are on a slow internet connection, you also have the choice of purchasing the update on a DVD for a small fee.
****Lifetime Update
If you purchase a Lifetime update program you will receive up to 2 updated versions per year for the Lifetime of your product, when and as such new updated versions become available. If you purchased your product on a micro-SD card, you are entitled to the Lifetime update for the life of the purchased micro-SD card. If you purchased the DVD version of the product, the Lifetime update applies to the life of your registered GPS unit. All updates are offered as a download. If you are on a slow internet connection, you also have the choice of purchasing the update on a DVD for a small fee.
